All our rentals include:

• Full coverage insurance (SCDW) with no excess or deposit*
• Unlimited mileage
• VAT (21%)
• 24-hour roadside assistance
• Direct delivery at Menorca Airport (Parking P1)
• Full/Full fuel policy
• Free additional driver

The insurance covers damage to the vehicle from an accident or collision, including windows and windshields, side mirrors, exterior parts and accidental tyre punctures (not from negligent driving). *Except drivers aged 19 to 22 (see point 3).

For €5/day you can add Peace of Mind insurance, which extends coverage to include:

• Damage to rims
• Blowouts
• Wheels cracked or damaged by impact
• Complete tyre replacement if necessary
• Loss or breakage of keys and remotes
• Incorrect fuelling (including draining and cleaning the system)

Without this insurance, these items are the customer's responsibility.

Minimum age: 19 with at least 2 years' licence.

• Drivers aged 19 to 22: mandatory surcharge of €15/day for groups A, A1, AA and €20/day for groups B, BA. Mandatory deductible by group: A/A1/AA = €700; B/BA = €1,000.
• Drivers aged 23 and over: no surcharge and no deductible.

Maximum age to rent: 75.

The insurance does not cover:

• Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Driving by an unauthorized person
• Use outside the island of Menorca
• Participation in competitions
• Intentional damage
• Breach of contract

Driving on roads, trails or areas unsuitable for public traffic is expressly prohibited. Tyre blowouts, rim damage or undercarriage damage from driving in unauthorized areas are not covered and are the renter's responsibility. Failure to report damage may result in loss of coverage.

The customer must immediately notify ABLACARS, complete the accident report form and, if third parties are involved, notify the authorities. Failure to report may result in loss of insurance coverage.

Payment: full, or 25% at booking and the rest on arrival (cash or Visa/MasterCard, credit or debit) for in-person deliveries only; for remote deliveries we send a payment link a few days in advance. If you pay the full amount when booking, you get a 5% discount.
Cancellation:

• Free up to 72 hours before pickup
• Between 72 hours and pickup time: 25% penalty
• No-show: 100% of the reserved amount

Free cancellation outside this window only for death of an immediate family member or verified serious hospitalization.

In-person pickup: we wait in the arrivals terminal at Menorca Airport and deliver the car at Parking P1 (we cover the parking fee).
Remote pickup: reservation fully paid and contract signed, coordination via WhatsApp or email, car parked at Parking P1 with detailed instructions (the customer pays the exit ticket). After 21:30 no surcharge applies and the car is available regardless of your flight's arrival time.
Return: on the agreed date, time and place, with the same fuel level and in normal condition. 59-minute courtesy; after that, a full extra day is charged.
Outside in-person hours: pickups after 21:30 → €40; returns outside hours → €20.

Vehicles are delivered full and must be returned full. Otherwise, the missing fuel is charged plus a €20 + VAT handling fee. Excess fuel is not refunded.

Damage not reported during the rental may be inspected and invoiced. If the vehicle is immobilized due to damage attributable to the customer and this causes loss of commercial availability, ABLACARS may claim the lost profits for the period of immobilization.

Thanks to our secure card tokenization system, we place no hold on any amount and require no deposit. Your banking details are never stored directly: an encrypted token linked solely to your reservation is generated, in strict compliance with GDPR and PCI-DSS. The token is only activated in justified cases such as: unrefueled fuel, damage not covered by the contracted rate, return outside hours, loss of keys or fine processing.

Reservations are made by vehicle category, not by specific model. The images shown on the website are for illustration only. If the booked group is unavailable, a vehicle of equal or higher category is provided at no extra cost.

We operate on a principle of clarity and transparency: no hidden charges or unfair practices. Any additional charge is properly documented and communicated. Our goal is a simple, clear experience with no surprises.
